The NCG KCDO Digital Health Foundation Course (DHFC), supported by the Koita Foundation, is a self-paced program designed to empower oncology professionals. This course aims to provide essential knowledge and skills for utilizing digital health applications, covering key areas such as Health Management Information Systems (HMIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), clinical standards, and data privacy and security. Course Objectives
- Provide a comprehensive overview of NCG and KCDO, and define digital health, including its significance and impact on cancer care.
- Introduce key digital health applications, focusing on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Health Management Information Systems (HMIS), imaging, and departmental systems.
- Examine healthcare data interoperability, privacy, and security, including the framework of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), to ensure effective and secure management of digital health information.
- Identify and evaluate emerging trends in digital health, particularly in oncology, to stay current with innovations and advancements in the field.

- This self-paced course spans 8 hours and allows participants to learn at their own pace. It includes interactive modules, quizzes, and a final test for a complete learning experience.
Certification
- Upon completing all eight modules, participants will receive
a certificate from the National Cancer Grid - Koita Centre
for Digital Oncology
(NCG-KCDO).
